Guidelines for Abstracts
Please make sure to include the following information (in this order): the title of your presentation, your name(s), affiliation(s), e-mail address(es), abstract, keywords, selected bibliography, and short bio(s). Followings are the requirements:
- • the words in the title should be initially capitalized;
- • the number of words should be between 350 and 400 excluding the title, author and bibliography;
- • the required font is TimesNewRoman; font size: 12;
- • the line spacing for the body of the abstract is 1;
- • all paragraphs need to be left- and right-justified;
- • number of keywords should be 3 to 5;
- • the bibliography should contain two 2 to 5 references following the APA citation style;
- • the short bio of an author shoud not exceed three lines
Guidelines for Presentations
Sometimes usbs of the presenters either do not open on the computers in the presentation rooms or some other technical issues arise. It is therefore recommended for the particpants who have got acceptance for oral presentation to submit their presentations in .ppt or .pdf format before the conference days. Proper contrast and font size should be chosen for better visibility and readibility of the audience.
Guidelines for Posters
The poster presetners should prepare their posters complying with the following guidelines.
- • the poster should be in the portrait form and its size should not exceed 36"x48";
- • the abstract title, authors and affiliations should be indicated in a heading at the top of your poster;
- • lettering for the title line should be at least 1" high (around font size 72), and other text should be readable from a distance (around font size 24-48);
- • keep visual materials simple and clear;
- • divide into sections, e.g. Introduction, Analysis, Results;
- • try to avoid any more than 3 paragraphs of text per section;
- • graphs, charts, tables and pictures provide clear means of communicating information
