Instructions for ICLAP 2017 Participants
□ Please carry your CNIC as you will be required to show it at the Entrance to the University under the prevailing stricter campus security measures across all HEIs. On a precautionary note, keep Copies of CNIC in case it is needed.
□ Please know your Conference ID # [OP/PP/---] that has been assigned to you and is available next to your name on the ICLAP Website (List of Registered Participants). This ID will help you at the REGISTRATION DESK while signing attendance and receiving your conference material, the HELP DESK especially for purchasing City Tour Ticket, and the SESSION PRESENTATION DESK for copying your presentation with the session facilitator and locating your session/room.
□ Please reach the conference venue and Registration Desk at 8:30 am on Day 1 to ''Sign In'' and to receive your conference material.
□ Pick & Drop Facility can be availed in the following conditions by the participants staying at the ACCOMODATION options listed on the ICLAP website:
- a. At least 5 participants at some specific guest house/hotel request for the facility.
- b. The formal requests alongwith the following information are received by 10 October 2017 at: firstname.lastname@example.org

□ Paper Presenters will have 20 minutes time for making their paper presentations. Each paper presenter will have 15 minutes time to deliver the presentation(ppt) and 5 minutes to answer the audience's questions. The sessions will be led by Session Chairs and moderated by Session Facilitators.
□ Prepare your Presentation Slides that comprehensively provide a gist of the study being presented such as problems statement, procedure, findings, recommendations [restrict your ppt to 15 mints]. The title slide should carry conference title, paper title, Session Number (as given in the schedule) and name of all authors and their institutional affiliation. Your presentation File should be named as Your name [Registration ID], for example, ''Almas Ahsraf [OP-34]''
□ Identify your Session Facilitator on the day of your presentation at the Session Facilitator's Desk and copy your presentation in their laptop system via USB Drive. Session facilitators will run all paper presentations on the designated systems to save time and to avoid setting issues. All presenters must have a back-up of their presentation in another USB and preferably in their mailbox, in case of USB/System failure.
□ Poster Presenters should get their posters displayed in their designated rooms through the HELP DESK (on Day 1) where student volunteers and support staff have been deputed for this. After each paper presentation session the presenters can invite the audience through session chairs and session facilitators to share their research ideas.
□ ICLAP participants are requested to please remain punctual and follow precisely the timelines on all three days of the conference. The schedule available in the programme book provides everybody clarity as to the programme flow and the start and finishing time for each individual and session or activity.
□ During Question Answer Sessions, participants should follow the decorum and standard norms of an academic forum. Ask well-focused, relevant, and clear questions based on the idea being presented. Avoid making comments or indulging in debate or argumentation that may lead to an awful waste of an opportunity to learn from others or to become aware of other perspectives on the topics of your interest.
□ Please carry your belongings with you as you move between different venues for plenary sessions, paper sessions, workshops and tea/lunch areas. The conference organizers will not bear any responsibility to find or replace personal or conference materials of the participants.
